Rowser Construction was started in 2007 by Michelle Rowser (President) and Travis Rowser (Vice President) because they identified there was a void in building guardrails and servicing guardrails in the State of Utah. Michelle and Travis put everything they owned into to the company to get it started.
UDOT (Utah Department of Transportation) began to recognize the quality of work Rowser Construction produced and Rowser began to win more jobs including the maintenance contracts for the state. At the same time, General Contractors also began recognizing the quality and timeliness of projects produced by Rowser Construction and began sending additional work. This has evolved into over 20 of the larger contractors in the state using Rowser Construction for their highway guardrail and safety needs. Other organizations Rowser Construction counts as customers include the Forest Service and individual cities and counties that need building and maintenance of highway safety.
Rowser Construction has an array of equipment that they use on their jobs. The company has its own Punch Truck (Guardrail Post Pounder) that was built exclusively for Rowser. This truck has a cage and an auger that drills down into the ground and then when they put either a wood post or a metal post into the hole, the Punch Truck pounds the post into the ground. They have a shouldering machine which got the company into dirt work where between the shouldering machine and the grader, Rowser can slope out the shoulders of the road and do the grading. They can also asphalt the shoulders of a road.
Rowser Construction also installs highway signs, mile marker signs and information signs.
