Rowser Construction

Utah’s premier provider of guardrails and highway signage since 2007.

Highway Guardrail Installation & Repair

Highway guardrails are passive barriers installed to keep vehicles running on the roadway. When a vehicle is diverted off the road and is intercepted by the guardrail, the guardrail decelerates the vehicle’s speed and redirects it back onto the road.

Roadway Shouldering

Like guardrails, the shoulders at the side of the road are designed to protect vehicles and their occupants. Shoulders must be installed to the same exacting requirements as other highway safety features. Rowser has the trained crews and specialized paving equipment to effectively install both asphalt and concrete shoulders.

Highway Sign Installation

Highway signage is designed to both break off and fall away from vehicles on impact. In order to function as designed, these informational components of the roadway need to be installed to an exact specification by highly skilled crews. We are constantly and progressively keeping our sign installation crews trained to the highest of industry standards. We are pleased to add this important service to our portfolio.

City and County Safety Features

On secondary roadways, we maintain our commitment to motorist safety by working with local governments to develop roadway safety enhancements at an economical cost.

Private Construction Safety Features

Rowser Construction works with major industrial plants and mining companies in installing similar roadway safety devices on truck haul roads and on industrial sites. We work throughout the Intermountain West serving the needs of heavy industry.

No Highway Too Big Or Too Small

The reason our government has highway guardrails across this country along federal, state and local highways, is to form a safety barrier to help protect motorists who have drifted off the road. If a car is running off the road for one reason or another, the best outcome that can happen is the car comes to a rest unimpeded. However, sometimes that is not possible and that is where guardrails come in.

On any given stretch of a road, in certain areas, the roadway may have steep embankments or side-slopes next to it, or even be lined with trees. Utility poles, bridge piers and retaining walls are other obstacles where guardrails are installed. They help lessen the severity of a potential crash and make the roads safer.

The guardrail acts in many different ways from deflecting a vehicle back onto the road, to slowing it down, to stopping the vehicle, or in some cases just slowing it down enough and allowing the vehicle to progress past the guardrail.

Rowser Construction works on every type of road to ensure that their roadside safety equipment becomes the last defense in keeping Americans safe.

Over 12 Years of Highway Experience

Michelle Rowser (President) and Travis Rowser (Vice President) started Rowser Construction in 2007 after identifying there was a void in building and servicing guardrails in the State of Utah. Because of their passion to keep America safe, Michelle and Travis put everything they owned into getting this company started.

The company specializes in the installation of new guardrails, replacing damaged guardrails, installing crash cushions, cable barriers and shouldering throughout the State of Utah on the freeways, highways and state roads. They also are subcontractors to the top 10 biggest contractors in the state on heavy highway projects.
